Collins Machine Works has been a stable member of the Portsmouth business community for over 60 years. Started in 1960, the organization began as a small machine shop. Collins has expanded multiple times over the years and now services national and international contracts for maritime defense, the department of defense, maritime and logistics and more. The business has expanded their Portsmouth headquarters and reinvested approximately $12 million in site acquisition and development.
