Hampton Roads Workforce Council Presents the Norfolk-Portsmouth Hiring Expo Series

WHAT: In partnership with the City of Norfolk and the City of Portsmouth, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council presents the Norfolk-Portsmouth Hiring Expo Series. Designed to connect employers with quality candidates in Hampton Roads, this two-day series offers job seekers the opportunity to participate in two preparatory workshops, which will provide resume assistance, access to professional attire, and more.

Hosted in Norfolk and Portsmouth, both events will take place on the campus of Tidewater Community College.

WHO: The Hiring Expo Series will feature more than 90 employers representing new, emerging, and in-demand industries, including:

· Chesapeake Regional Medical Center

· City of Norfolk

· Hampton Roads Transit

· Lyon’s Shipyard

· Norfolk Public Schools

· Portsmouth Fire and Rescue

· Rivers Casino Portsmouth

· The Breeden Company
